About

Billie-Jay Farruggia is a photographic artist, curator and educator based in London. Her practice documents the lives and experiences of friends, family and herself. She is curious about people and drawn to photographing the cultural and social stories that surround them. This journey has led her to explore the themes of identity, memory and belonging through portraiture and alternative processes.

Billie received a MA in Documentary Photography from the University of Portsmouth and BA (Hons) in Photography from the University of Cumbria.
